Glaciar Perito Moreno

December 14, 2009

The Perito Moreno Glaciar was a highlight of our Patagonian adventure.

This enormous glaciar is 5km along the face and 60m in hight.

It is advancing 2m each day causing building-sized icebergs to collapse and crash thunderously into the lake below.

The sound was amazing and we sat enthralled for hours.

South America

November 11, 2009

I was lucky enough to spend a few weeks in South America  to visit my friends Steve and Ally.

I spent some time in the crazy, stay up late city of Buenos Airies.  It is a big city that is polluted and crowded.  Despite this, or perhaps because of it,  it has a vibe that is exciting and full of life.

I loved being able to practise my Spanish and took a few more lessons while I was there.

Buenos Airies is all about great coffee,  shops, fashion,  beautiful women and of course, the Tango.
